confused and frustrated

I want to submit the beginning of a song to this space, but I don't know how. Hence confused and frustrated.

What does the word Hence mean anyway? I use it but I don't even know if I'm using it right. Someone please tell me, cause I'm obviously an idiot who doesn't know a simple word like 'hence'.
